Welcome to Klerenhaus. This page explains how and when we ship your order, typical delivery timeframes, and what to do if something goes wrong. If anything here isn’t clear, email us at support@klerenhaus.com and we’ll help.


Order Processing

  • Processing time: 1–2 working days (Mon–Fri, excluding UK bank holidays).

  • Cut‑off time: Orders placed after 1:00 pm (UK time) are processed the next working day.

  • Weekend orders: Packed on Monday.

  • Address edits: If you need to change your address, contact us immediately. We can’t change addresses after dispatch.

Some items are marked “Pre‑Order” or “Sourced for You.” These take longer to dispatch (see Extended Lead Items below).


Shipping Services & Estimated Timeframes

Carrier services may vary depending on weight, value, and destination. You’ll see the best options at checkout.

United Kingdom

  • Royal Mail Tracked 48: 2–3 working days

  • Royal Mail Tracked 24: 1–2 working days

  • Express Next Business Day (DPD/Royal Mail Special Delivery): Next working day (order by 1:00 pm)

Europe (EU & EEA)

  • Tracked Priority: Typically 4–8 working days

North America (USA & Canada)

  • Tracked Priority: Typically 6–12 working days

Rest of World

  • Tracked Priority: Typically 7–14 working days

Timeframes are estimates from the carrier and exclude customs delays, remote areas, severe weather, and peak seasons.

Free Shipping Thresholds

  • UK: Free Tracked 48 on orders £75+

  • International: Free Tracked Priority on orders £150+

Large/heavy orders or remote postcodes may incur surcharges shown at checkout.


Tracking Your Order

  • You’ll receive a dispatch email with a tracking link.

  • Tracking may take 24 hours to update after you receive the link.

  • Multiple items may ship in separate parcels. You’ll get tracking for each.


Extended Lead Items (Pre‑Order / Sourced for You)

Some styles are specially sourced or made to order. These are clearly labelled on the product page.

Typical timelines:

  • Sourcing/production: 5–10 working days

  • International transit to our UK hub (if applicable): 5–10 working days

  • Final UK delivery: As per the service you choose at checkout

You’ll receive updates at each stage. If your order mixes ready‑to‑ship and extended‑lead items, we may part‑ship the ready items first.


Customs, Taxes & Duties (International Orders)

  • Orders shipping outside the UK may be subject to import VAT, duties, and handling fees charged by your local customs office or carrier.

  • These charges are not included in our prices and are paid by the recipient.

  • If you refuse a delivery due to unpaid customs charges, we’ll refund the item(s) minus shipping costs and any return/processing fees once the parcel is returned to us in original condition.

EU customers: Post‑Brexit, most shipments will incur import VAT and may incur duties depending on the order value and product category.


Delivery Attempts, Safe Places & PO Boxes

  • Carriers may attempt delivery more than once or deliver to a local pickup point if nobody is home.

  • If you request delivery to a safe place or neighbour, you accept responsibility once the carrier marks the parcel as delivered.

  • We currently do not ship to PO Boxes in some countries where tracking/insurance is limited.


Lost, Delayed or Damaged Parcels

Delayed:

  • UK: Please allow 7 working days from dispatch before contacting us.

  • International: Please allow 20 working days from dispatch.

Lost:
If tracking hasn’t updated for the timeframes above, email support@klerenhaus.com with your order number. We’ll start a carrier investigation. Replacements/refunds are issued after the carrier confirms the parcel is lost or a claim window is met.

Damaged:
If your parcel arrives damaged, photograph the packaging and item(s) and contact us within 48 hours of delivery so we can assist.


Wrong/Incomplete Address

Orders returned due to an incorrect or incomplete address can be resent once re‑shipping costs are paid. Original shipping fees are non‑refundable.


Refused Deliveries & Uncollected Parcels

If a parcel is refused at delivery or not collected from a pickup point and returns to us, we’ll refund the item(s) minus:

  • outbound shipping fees,

  • return shipping/processing fees charged by the carrier.


Sustainability & Packaging

We prioritise recyclable mailers, minimal filler, and right‑sized cartons. Where possible, we reuse inbound packaging for outbound shipments to reduce waste.
